Just checking the tp today and apparently there are around 15 Final Rests posted.

Is this a bug? How can people post so many in 1 day even though no one has had that iet since the start of the game? And for only 20g?

What do you all think?

Shadow Behemoth event finally resetting regularly after block bug fix.

Chest loot improved big time post-patch.

Guaranteed rares per chest opened per character per server per day.

People farming the known event to drop it.

Mass influx of said item.

Yeah it started entering the TP right after the last update where loot drops were increased. I recall them being around 50G initially. People started doing the Shadow behemoth alot more and getting better drops.

Got mine on my first attempt of Shadow Behemoth.
Look at TP and it was 40g, the next day it was worth 20g.

The first one on the TP was 1500g iirc and they subsequently started moving lower and lower, in the first day we had like 20 of them posted – I still haven’t gotten one lol. They’re around 20g now.

Pre loot buff, the drop rate of Final Rest was something like 1 in 200000, and some speculate that it wasn’t actually in the game to begin with.

Post loot buff, all drops were increased from (certain) chests and Final Rest now has a drop rate of something like 1 in 200.

Only time will tell if the new drop rates of chests is a bug or not. At any time ArenaNet could decide the drop rates are too high and nerf them.

Heh, it’s that cheap already? I remember checking the TP for it after it was finally confirmed and the price was 156g. Ah well, at least this will make my guildie happy. She’s been after Final Rest for the skin.

Not me. I’ve never received anything like it and I’ve been playing since beta. Every half decent thing my characters have has been bought from the TP. Even nice looking dyes I’ve had to buy. Guess some people have much better luck than me.

I have fought the Behemoth a dozen times since the patch and in every fight someone has gotten Final Rest. I don’t have one yet, but they’re definitely very common now. Watch the price on the TP, it was once several hundred gold and now it’s what? 16G?

They’re a dime a dozen.

Hate to be that person that bought a Final Rest for 1500 gold now. :b

Well, I saw the announcement and I’ve seen people up in arms over it but I’ve seen little evidence personally. I get the occasional ‘rare’ item which is so rare that it sells for little more than vendor price on the TP.
