People/mobs are invisible?
The problem is culling aka render issues and it happens for allot of players at the moment until they find a better fix.
I have that too. Pretty annoying if you cannot see where the foes are and you have to guess (because you know where they should spawn) and kill the invisible mobs. At the time they are visible for me, they are nearly or already dead. (Nice that I am allowed to see how they collapse xD)
It happens when there are a lot of players 10 or maybe 15+. ^^

I believe, to the extent that anyone outside of Anet knows, the problem is a combination of bandwidth needed and of server resources required.

No, it doesn’t. It is completely on anet, server side.

no its on their side. server bandwidth cannot handle such big data that includes 50+ people/mob with all those detailed cosmetic stuff. if the server doesnt send data for 50 people to ur computer no matter how powerful ur pc is there wont be people/mob on ur screen. they came up with the idea of inplementing a placeholder last patch though, and they are working on more fixes.
okay just to be clear, in a ToG event only a few meters away mobs/people were invisialble until I was right on top of them and mobs dying were invisiable to as in -I’d see the mobs and they would automatically die.
