Permanent Bank Access Express
Well the good news is if you got them before the shared inventory slots were released you’ll have paid a lot less than 4.6k – the price jumped up the day the slots were released because they suddenly became much more useful.
There is currently no way for players to unbind any item and it’s unlikely to be added because it would defeat the point of having them bound in the first place. But you could try putting a ticket in to Support to ask if they can revert 3 of them back to the unbound state. They may not do it, but it couldn’t hurt to ask. (Just be aware it will be considered a low priority request so you may have to wait a few days for an answer.)

I got a few perma merchs binded myself, it’s unfortunate but I don’t think ANet will do anything about it.
They didn’t even do anything about the people who had multiple copper fed (gem store item) salvage kits.
I feel so poor reading this. T.T
However I think too that sending a ticket is your best bet.
It certainly can’t hurt to make the request. ANet tries to work with people who (a) made a purchase shortly before and (b) submitted a request shortly after a major mechanic change that would have dramatically affected their purchase decision.
However, the precedents are pretty clear: e.g. folks who purchased their Nth salvage-o-matic just before the introduction of shared slots got a refund; those who purchased it long before, did not.
Support will probably ask why the OP didn’t contact them in January of 2016, when the shared slots were added to the game.
Please let us know what you find out.
I don’t think they will be able to help you because these are bought with gold from the TP (unless you were incredibly lucky and got all four yourself) rather than with gems from the gem store.
It would effectively be support gifting you gold (when you resell them). But you never know they might.
Luckyly, all I have repeated is an extra Copper Feed Salvage device.
that it makes every other class in the game boring to play.”

So the price on those are 4,6k now, i bought 4 (one for each of my mains) before Anet gave us shared inv slots. So i was hoping that Anet would at some point either unaccount-bind those perma qol items, or just make an exception for everyone with multiple of them.
how many people even have more than one of each?
I have one (dropped from a BLC for me) and of course I want them to stay account-bound. You are being quite egotist for wanting them to be made character-bound.
It’s nobody’s fault you spent that much gold for multiple ones. Most people had the common sense not to buy any before shared inventory slots were introduced, as this didn’t really make much sense then. Why should others be punished for your expenses?

The only perma i’ll keep will be the hair style already sold the bank one when it was 3k g and the Lion merch last week

Well, I guess we all have our personal preferences. To me, the bank access is the only one that (IMO) truly makes sense as it saves you loads of time.
Wa?? This is fashion wars 2!! An hairstyle per day is a must

Per day? I have a friend who got the Perma-stylist; they change hair between every major encounter, especially if we’re waiting for someone to swap builds.

I don’t think they want them to become character bound, instead they want them to be not bound at all l. Presumably so that they can sell their extra copies.

I wouldn’t go that far. It is quite a QoL difference to have it across characters. Compare it to the Royal Terrace Pass before shared inventory; it’d be pretty cumbersome without it.
That being said, I don’t really think much for refunds. They can’t just offer mass refunds every time they improve the game, can they? That would be quite the disincentive.
Honestly, if I buy something, I have to live with it if it becomes devalued in the future. Now if you bought something 2 months ago, sure then that sucks, but otherwise, don’t buy it if you’re not willing to part with the gold.
for there you have been and there you will long to return.
