Why was this left in the coding for the dailies?

You locked the Personal Story up into 8 chapters that opens a chapter every 10 levels.
Imagine finishing a chapter in your Personal Story and then 30 min later the dailies reset.

Someone didn’t think that one through.

Well, unless you have completed the Personal Story on every character, I imagine it is possible to do one of the episodes. It doesn’t require an entire chapter. And, if the character/player hasn’t time to reach the next arc starting point, there are several other dailies that can be completed to reach the required quota of 5 per day.

Perhaps, the Devs will change it one day….anything is possible! =)

Does creating a new character and completing the tutorial still count for Personal Story Completer? Might be one option if you’re a player who does every single Daily for the AP.

I believe it does, though I’m not 100% sure. I’ve created several key-runner characters since the patch, and I think I got credit for the PS when it was offered as an option previously on the Daily. You do get that center screen announcement, just like any of the other episodes.

The personal story starts at level 1 with the tutorial area and is completed after defeating the boss. It still counts towards the daily.
