First off, I’m excited to say that I love the new personal story rewards I’m getting! I’m reaching out to many people to get a collective data set on the “Bags of Loot” and “XX’s Bag of Crafting Materials”. Unfortunately I had played through my story of one of my alts without collecting the data kicks myself but I can give a rough estimate of what the bags gave me. I currently have another alt going through the 40+ personal story missions and I will surely be saving this data haha x) So for anyone who cares (despite being from just my memory) I’ll just say what I got from ~60 Bags of Loot and ~5 Master Bags of Crafting Materials. Keep in mind this is an incredibly low sample size too.

From ~60 Bags of Loot:
~15 Orichalcum Tools (various)
~10-12 T6 Crafting Materials (various)
~2 Unidentified Dyes
~Loads of Masterwork items (green weapons / armor)

From ~5 Master Bags of Crafting Materials:
~10 Lodestones (various)
~50-75 Orichalcum Ore
~30 Gossamer Scraps
~30 Gossamer Bolts
~50-75 Ancient Wood Log

Once again keep in mind the incredibly low sample size and non-specificity of my memory lol.

From my own experience so far, I’ve gotta say I love the new reward system for the Personal Story Missions They really did make doing the Personal Story line more worthwhile than before!

I am currently going through with another alt right now through the same 40+ Personal Story Missions so I will be getting more steadfast data soon! Any help with this data set will be fully appreciated! Thanks for your patience

At the end of the level 20 PS for the Norn I got a Masterwork version of the Tier 1 Cultural Chest Armor.

Same here for Human, and that Masterwork had better-than-Masterwork stats, and merched for 10 silver. I’m guessing this is true across the board.

I have to admit, the rewards have been very nifty. One of them at some point is 8 skill points and another was an 8 slot invisi bag. Kudos on these rewards Anet.

It would have been alot more awesome, if ANet would have been so fair to give these rewards out also retroactively :P

or at least to every character a kind of level based little compensation therefore that we lose out with all our veteran characters those rewards that new characters get now.

But I guess this would be too confusing and overwhelminng for all of us players to get some retroactive rewards for the same effort we have done, that every newbie has to go through, that we deserve also too …

One of my personal story instances (Chapter 8 ) last night rewarded me with 3 Charged Lodestones. It blew my mind! I love the new rewards.

It makes me glad I have a bunch of 80’s that were leveled a year ago purely on scarlet invasions+crafting that have never touched the personal story – definitely something to start working on

I was thinking the same thing.

While I like that some people are getting some rewards, I’m hopeful that the perma DR that some of us experience will not affect this change. The only thing I miss from personal story rewards are the skin change items because since they didn’t announce they would never make the level 79 ones useful I deleted those for bank space long time ago and was hopeful I could farm some more.
