How much trouble would it be to make it where everybody in the game had the ability to walk around playing his (or her) own personal music ? You could write code to make it where you could turn your own “radio” off or someone else’s radio “off” if you didn’t like their song. Also when two people came close together playing the same song, it could synchronize constructively (wave form). Copyright nightmare ?

You already can add your own playlist to replace the game’s music.

Would be very awkward if anyone had a playlist active that others could hear lol.
Think of it, LA or DR, everyone standing AFK, blasting their own tunes. You’d have to
have their music off all the time, considering how many players there are.

I think their current optional playlist function is cool as it is.
Just need to make a playlist for each scenario, with M3U files lists.

Easier to just mute GW2 and put on some music

It would be a nightmare with net-traffic if we could all stream music around us in-game, copyright issues galore and people would abuse it in every way they could with broadcasting inappropiate music and sounds.
Unless you mean the game instruments in some way (figured you meant real music)?
