(Disguised voice from red phone): Thank you Agent Z. Good catch. Expect a little something extra in your next paycheck. Invisible walls coming up in 3….2….1….. New walls!
ANet staffer hangs up phone. He says to himself “I hope the bonus is as good as the one for adding more invisible walls around the Salma District.”

Did we ever get an answer as to why they blocked off Salma uninstanced?

We got a hint that they might look into doing something nice for RPers that might pass as guild halls. We got megaservers, but no guild halls. Go figure.

As to why they blocked off the most convenient entrance (that happened to involve you jumping off the top of a DR highway to your near death…), it was just a bug or exploit that never hurt anyone, yet it was so much easier to “fix” than the numerous gamebreaking bugs in events, skills, animations, tooltips etc, that they just couldnt allow it to exist.

aww, that reminds me the Housing guild system on Lineage :/ , pitty on this game design it is based on overflows of random overflows….

Probably the same reason as the other home instances.

Ehh It was still nice to sit there and watch the pugs try to get into the hall. Eventually some figured it out, and we told others. It was just a great feeling to have a spot for the guild to sit back and talk to each other.

there is a place at Hoelbrak, inside one of the lodges, its the perfect place for a guild it even has a throne for the guild master… I’ll post some screens when I get home

It really is frustrating as heck that we can’t bring the whole guild together in one instance.
