Many of the items are rotated out then later brought back in. This encourages impulse buying and pushes people to buy when they see it instead of waiting till later. The Phoenix glider was removed but will undoubtably be brought back later. When is unknown.

The glider was in the gem shop as recently as 11 days ago, according to Delsea “I like Tables” aka Dash (see the most recent post with one of these amazing Tables of Availability). It had been there since its introduction on 2 February of this year.
As Just a flesh wound says, Evon Gnashblade cycles all of the items in gem shop (for a variety of reasons that are mentioned elsewhere). Nearly all of them have returned; many have returned multiple times.
