My computer is not so good at doing most stuff in melee range even tho i have a warrior and a guardian lol, so the question is, which pure ranged class should i main? And why

OR come up with a better excuse like I’m a war veteran and I can’t dodge. There is no feasible way that your computer performance would hinder you from playing in melee range.

In all seriousness, if the real reason is that you’ve now become frustrated of dying a few times on guardian and warrior and want an easier class to pick and feel pro at it go with ranger and get a longbow. They have play styles where you’ll feel like a pro in a few mins all the way up to stuff more complex than warrior/guardian like micromanaging pets, and learning to use sword effectively.

Engineer is an extremeley fun class it is also hard to use, WHO DOESN’T LOVE EXPLOSIONS, asuras with flamethrowers and big robots?!

Is not dying that bothers me, its the fps drop when there are more than 5 guys nearby me, often have to wear ranged weapons to almost everything that is not a dungeon

The thing is i lag a lot in melee range, in ranged everything is fine, as melee i can only do dungeons and some world bosses in melee range

Consider figuring what is causing such lag and solve it(If possible). cause melee is a lot of damage while ranged is not (see forum stickies).
Or get in PVP with ranger or mesmer and hope nobody gets near you.
