Is there a program like fraps that does an overlay for both ping & fps?

I don’t think so, since the programm would have to read the memory of the current
game to now what it should ping, since it wouldn’t really help you to see your ping
to google.com or whatever.
Or else you would at least configure profiles like for example in razer synapse.

I’m not sure why this isn’t already part of the display. There was a little bubble they used in Guild Wars that showed ping and fps when moused over. It also changed from green to yellow to red as a quick indicator. You can already view the info at any time by pushing F11, so it’s strange that the option to put it on your UI isn’t available (unless it is?) and that we have to rely on a third party to do so.

During beta events, this command line argument was available, just as in GW1. But, at release, it was removed from player clients. Unfortunately.

I, too, wish they would allow us to use it, again.

I’m not sure about ping but you can try MSI Afterburner.
