Just saw these in the wardrobe. Tried looking them up on Dulfy but that site it’s unknown how they are acquired. Anyone else see these? Anyone know how to get them?

Theory is from AP rewards past 36000. Or maybe 33000. Whenever we run out of the other weapons.

So basically they are impossible to get right now and will remain so for the foreseeable future.

Definitely from Achievement Rewards, as noted in the item’s tool-tip. It’s just a matter of when….

As others have said, they’re the next set of AP weapons after a player fully completes the Zenith set.

Assuming they follow the current pattern for AP rewards, the first pinnacle skin is to be awarded at 29k AP. (pattern being: you get a weapon skin in every 1k chest, except for the 3k chests where you get an armor skin instead)

Lets see. it has taken me almost two years to hit 11k AP. Give another two years and this will be achievable lol

Currently the highest AP anyone has right now is 25,457 and I’m sure they capped the AP for both monthlies and dailies. I don’t know how many achievements are left after that, but it’d pretty much be WvW, PvP and LS achieves.

Capped for dailies, yes, but for monthlies not even close (more like 2k5/5k).

Oh true, seems like the most AP anyone could have right now if they did every achievement and capped daily and monthly, it’d be 28,505 AP. Seems like it’ll be a while before people can even get the 29k AP chest.

And after that? PINNACLE ARMOR SKINS….

Someone linked these in chat yesterday saying they had been datamined. Sorry, Anet, Zenith skins were fugly to begin with, these are even worse. I’m just glad they’re not the next black lion ticket skins.

really ugly skins but this seems to be the tactic of anet for the past year. Stuff you earn since the past year is mostly visually unappealing while the best looking skins are saved for cash shop. Anet has strayed so far from the days of GW1

Most of the added weapon-skins look to me like created by a Southkorean teenie-girl (and most of the armor too, btw.). Chaos weapons where the first BLTC-skins of which I found at least a few attracting.

Too bad they only look good when stowed. Way too many different colors when wielded. Should only have been blue-ish and purple-ish colors shining when wielded…

Hey Mr Literal… get the meaning!

Its a couple of floating crystals without texture pulled together by mysterious lightning… I know a couple of 6-10yo who love them but I prefer the work of another who burst his cat trying to get a texture for a fabric and made a beautiful credible weapon. Centaur, Bandit, Ogre, Krytan, Orrian, etc… all those skins have 10 times more work on them than these “new” re-skins. This is Blizzard in Burning Crusade all over again, re-doing easy skins, being lazy where they’ve already been lazy before. I’m crossing my fingers they move away from the particle FX covering everything path… its cheap and any monkey with a computer can do it, that is why most cheap free to play games have seizure-making graphics filled with glowing and magic FX on them.

they’re terribad. not one person in our guild of over 80 cared for them; they’re like the overly common zenith weapons that very few like, but worse. I promise you if they release these skins, just spend your gold on them; they’ll be going cheap.

@Mesket i can say that about literally every skin they added after release. It’s a trend they will not quit on. Get used to it sadly.

The skins made before the release i am starting to think they were made by another company because it’s literally impossible that the same company that made those awesome skins is now making these new ones.

Yeah I know, though some times they surprise us with some quality skins like Phalanx armor or some of the wvw reward weapons. It’s a matter of taste whether you like them or not but you can’t deny the work put into them. Leather, Cloth, Metal, Wood, all in the same skin,… while on the other hand we have… these… floating crystals :/

The starter skins were made by real artist… when the game was in invest status and money was tossed in. Games launch, people is fired, contracts ends, offices gets reduced and cheap results roles in…
