I love all of the music in the game. As someone with two degrees in music and just a love for what people can do I’m always excited when I catch snippets of something here and there.

Has anyone else noticed the Promenade theme from Pictures at an Exhibition while roaming around Plains of Ashford? I noticed this during one of the Beta Weekends and as such that area is still one of my favorites!

(Edit: I know it’s only a small part that’s similar…it’s just that iconic horn motif that strikes me as similar)

The composer, Jeremy Soule, seems to have quoted the middle of that particular phrase. The Promenade theme and more broadly Pictures at an Exhibition captures a feeling of advancement which Soule was probably attempting to convey in this zone’s BGM.

Jeremy Soule did a great job with the music. I love how he captured the feeling of procession & advancement thru the zone. Which is why is will always be my favorite area <3
