And have only just noticed that a carrier pigeon flies over your head when you receive mail.
Please tell me this is a recent addition and I have not played a character through to 80 and another to 55 without noticing this…
Well I think I noticed something fly towards or away from me, wasn’t sure what it was but I am pretty sure it was always there….

Yeah it’s always appeared, even when you’re underwater and the bird leaves a trail of bubbles behind it.

Yeah, that is a really nice touch. GW2 does a great job with the little details like that. Really makes you feel immersed.
Dont feel bad – I only noticed it because Woodenpotatoes mentioned it in once of his countdown videos. Otherwise, I would probably still be obliviant about one of the coolest little details in the game (besides the asura’s ears perking up when they’re in combat)

Off topic but..
I loled when you used the word “obliviant”. I didn’t notice that about the Asura. I really have to start opening my eyes to this stuff.
You see other people’s pigeons as well ( pay attention when you’re in the trading post in LA, you’ll see lots of them ).
It also flies over you when you’re underwater which is kind of weird.

yesterday i was trying to complete a heart mission deep underwater….
i completed it and the pigeon arrived XD……
they could change it with a dolphin lol
