Guild Wars 2

Hi, i was wondering if this would be alloud in any way, i did read the ToS and i am not sure if this would be considered as breaking any real world laws, but basicly since i have a decent sized youtube channel, i would host duel streams, where basicly two people would send a certain amount of gold to me, sort of as a middle man and they would fight each other till death, and i send the combined gold to the winner. I am just wondering if this would be fine i am wondering why they don’t have this system yet in guild wars 2 and would love to see it, maybe i was thinking it isin’t aloud because it condones gambling, but basicly im asking is what i am doing aloud or not?

I personally don’t see a problem with the system so long as the participants are willing to send you the gold. Seems more like a community event than anything dangerous.

Of course, I’m not Anet so I guess you’ll have to check for clarification XD

Yes but it does somewhat promote gambling in someway so thats what i am concerned about :P

Technically speaking, if Anet were to disallow gambling in the game, they’d have to remove RNG’s like the Mystic Forge and Chests which essentially work as Slot Machines.

Anyways I’m pretty sure if Anet does comment on this, they’d likely just point out that anybody participating is liable for any losses incurred or whether or not you scam everyone in an elaborate gambling ring pyramid scheme.

I know it would be so appealing for all the PvPers ! And betting against one another would make it more appealing imo, and why have they not even added a trade system im confused on that.. if anyone can inform me there..

The question is valid, since it has been confirmed by a Dev that the only ones who can state wheter something is against the rules are the guys at exploits@arena.net.

So unless they state it is allowed, the question remains.

That also means the User Agreement can be thrown in the thrash, but that’s a another matter…
