We don’t normally cross-post but a lot more people read this sub-forum than may think to visit the In-Game Events forum, and we’re pretty excited about the idea of joining some of you for player-hosted events around the Lion’s Arch Reopening.
If you’re planning an event, please consider posting in this thread if you’d like to share the news! As I mention, ArenaNet team members will try to stop by several player, guild, group, and fansite hosted parties and celebrations that take place in celebration of the June 23rd reopening of Lion’s Arch.

Gaile, unless you or Froggie have another Mursaat Rally in mind, I most certainly encourage you to try and stop us from hosting a party!
It’s a rare thing indeed to see an event related red-post in this area of the forums…even if it is trying to foil the Snowman.

I just edited. We will try to STOP BY the parties. After all, we love parties. We have no intention of stopping them. We encourage parties morning, noon, and night.
