Guild Wars 2

I miss the old name placement below players and NPC’s from the original GW. The new overhead placement is really distracting and I feel it takes away from the enjoyment of the game. Is there any hope for adding an option in the user interface to display names beneath the characters?

Yes please this is something that’s bothered me for a while. Even when choosing the option to hide names if players are in your party or squad you’re just awash in a sea of alphabet soup! Is that some awesome armor?! Nope. Just some blue letters bouncing towards me. This needs to be a thing. pretty please ANET

I’ve nothing for or against this idea, as long as anet introduce it as an option so people can toggle between above/below. It might seem oxymoronical (is that a word?) to point this out to anet, but they have demonstrated that they’ll sometime implement something across the board in a knee-jerk fashion – so it doesn’t hurt to give them a hint.
