I plan on playing gw2 again and last I really played was back in june or july. My biggest question is have they actually made dungeons challenging or is it the same ol stand in a corner and dps? also anything new that is permanent been added??

Dungeons are the same. There have been some new maps added during living story P2.

Oh boy… You, my dear OP have perhaps started a war with this topic. I’ll give u a short answer to your question though…

YES, dungeons have been generally left the same, and zerk/stack is still the most effective way to finish the dungeons fast.

However, there is hope for your dungeon runs. you can create your own lfg in dungeon menu, and place your own requirements. I have been doing it lately, since the system might not change or improve in any way for a while, and you’ll be surprised, many are looking for a dungeon group that doesnt stack or have a forced zerker meta requirement.

FGS got nerfed long ago so it’s no longer a single stack and spam (unless you are in facetank gear) so i guess it’s an improvement.

Dungeons are basically the same as they have always been.
