I know not everyone is gullible, but I know that there are some out there that do not think about everything at times. I got an email supposed from Anet about my account. I looked at the address and lo and behold, it is not 100% the addy for logging into your account. If you bring both of them up, the text is close, but not 100%.

I dunno how the powers would react if I put the phony addy up or not, so I would have to have them weigh in on it.

You can report it but I believe there is a post about it from anet already. I think though it would have been better if the web team made it a notice you had to click to read rather than a hidden thread in a sub forum.

Probably :P But still, not everyone reads that forum. Like I said would have been better to make it an announcement. Although players should mostly know to be careful with phishing etc, but some people aren’t as tech/web/computer savvy as others. So its good that they remind people to be safe.
