Guild Wars 2

Is just amazing!

I’ve tried it just from curiosity and it rocks in this game! The overall experience feels much different and fun. Now I don’t know how to go back and play it with keyboard and mouse. Some time ago I’ve played tera with gamepad and even thaw the gamepad controller is officially supported by that game the overall experience it is not even close to the guild wars 2.

All skills are just in a reach of my finger. I don’t need to trigger them with mouse anymore. I mean utility skills specifically. 1,2,3,4 and in some degree 5 are ok and quite convenient but any above that is not. And with gamepad everything just clicks as it should. Dodging, using utilities and even targeting is not an issue here. And one more thing… sitting on my couch while playing gw2 rocks!

Yea, I played like that for a while and it was semi-enjoyable. In the end I’d choose a keyboard/mouse over it, but for the ability to stretch out across my couch and properly vegetate while I play, it served a good purpose.

I didn’t even try with the keyboard, just jumped in with my aging Ideazon Fang Gamepad and the old GW1 default mod. Needed a bit of mapping.
Really bummed they quit making it when they merged with Steel Series

I use a mouse and nostromo.
Most comands in nostromo, keep the mouse to turn/jump/dodge
Siting on the couch with one in each side feels great….

It would be cool if ANet officially supported or at least implemented Controller Support as well as the “Action mode”.

Yeah GW2 is a game practically made to be played on a big screen with a controller.
