Currently, guilds cannot receive credits (merits) until the timers for guild rush or guild puzzle run out. Our guild usually finishes the rush and puzzle with at least 10 minutes to spare. At least one of our members need to stay in the rush or puzzle areas to accept credits or the missions will be consider failed.

Please add an option for guild leaders to accept guild credits before the timers run out.

What if the guild leader is a kitten and decided to complete it as soon as he/she have done it (and the number of completions is right in the case of Rush) and just completes it while leaving half the guild without any rewards for it?

What if the guild leader is a kitten and decided to complete it as soon as he/she have done it (and the number of completions is right in the case of Rush) and just completes it while leaving half the guild without any rewards for it?

Then find a new guild whose leaders aren’t spiteful jerks? Devs could easily* put warning text on the first notification and a secondary “Are you sure you want to do the thing? Guild members who have not yet completed the activity will not receive credit” pop-up, which would help to cut down on accepting it out of ignorance.

As it is, you already stand to miss getting guild credit for it if you don’t know to leave someone in the zone – and there is no warning for that. The current mechanic is something my last two guilds have both told me they had to learn from the experience of auto-failing.

*I bet devs love seeing “devs could easily” in a sentence, haha. I just meant confirmation “are you suuuuure?” pop-ups exist already and are probably relatively easier to implement than the code required for this overall idea.

Adding something into the guild that can be used to griefing will lead to griefing, and that is not something anyone wants.

Eh, I think changing it so credit can be accepted remotely would be a better fix which would also not have the potential for people to screw others.

It is not hidden.
The guild mission is an event. Every single event in the game require that you stay in the map until it is over in order to get credit.

It have clearly worked for years, so it can keep working. Adding the ability to grief however will make stuff worse.

They don’t have to do that. Instead they can either just give credit to the guild once the requirements are met and keep the event open until the timer runs out, or when the timer runs out as long as the requirements have been met, grant credit to the guild, even if no one is in the area.
