Please Remove the Toxic Offshoot events
Funny, people comment on how everything from the LS is temporary, and when ArenaNet does leave permanent content, then people aren’t thrilled with that, either.
I think it is great that the maps have changed. Just because Scarlet is gone, doesn’t mean she left nothing behind. Though, you will probably get your wish, sooner or later.
They didn’t remove it from wvw when it would instantly put everyone in combat and spawn orange swords on the map even if you didn’t attack any of the mobs. Lol

No, you don’t speak for everyone and you never will.
Now that that’s out of the way, they could remove one event from each map that has them and increase the number of toxic spores gathered afterward. There are probably people that still want them.
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
I agree. Their persistence following the fall of the Tower was a nice touch, but lasting through both the Escape From and Assault On Lion’s Arch was stretching their welcome. Having them persist beyond those events is illogical and should have been removed with the Epilogue update. However, since they were not, I expect they will likely get removed in the next content update as making everyone stop what they’re doing and download a new build just to remove them doesn’t seem courteous to all players in-game at the time, or efficient. Unfortunately the next update seems to be coming on April 15th. Unless they decide to throw some things together into a small update between now and then, it looks like we are stuck with them for several more weeks.

I can see the spores still germinating for years to come but the Alliance defenders on them are foolish. Sure, it’s nice to have a vet source for daily vets, but the surrounding events with Vigil engineers don’t make sense. Nor do I see the Krait still pushing the spores out when their big ol’ tower is all gone boom. The spores should be showing up wild, maybe just in the small beds of them instead of giant Toxic-defended stalks.
Remove all but maybe one or two of them and I’m golden, but otherwise they are a pain.
I’ve seen people that still do them, and it’s nice to be able to still farm spores. They’re more difficult than a lot of “group” dynamic events, so I enjoy going through them on alts or when I’m traveling through zones for something.
I really don’t see how they get in the way of anything. The one in Queensdale, for example, is easily avoidable. The others I’ve seen are equally easy to avoid. If you don’t want to do them, then don’t, but there are people who still enjoy clearing these.

I agree these are pretty easy to avoid. They should not be, nor ever should have been, in WvW.
I’d like to see the following:
1. Toxic Seedling nodes continue to randomly sprout all across Tyria, representing how the Tower’s destruction spread spores far and wide that continue to germinate for years to come. (This will provide constant supply of Toxic Spores for the economy.)
2. The Toxic Offshoot events are removed from all maps. As time passes, less and less of the Toxic Alliance remain as their members are killed off (and Scarlet isn’t there to provide them with the alchemical concoctions to make more). A few Toxic Alliance events, such as the Alchemist trying to corrupt the hylek, do remain.
3. Viathan Lake is eventually cleaned up and the last traces of the Tower removed. A memorial is erected at Thunder Hill Camp commemorating the event, along with an NPC who continues to sell the recipes and allows players to view the cinematics of the Tower’s destruction.
The only complaint I have about that is that these events are an uber pain when you have to do some heart too close (Like in Kessex hills sometimes) and with a low lvl char, for they are way too unbalanced for the level they are supposed to be.

Def should have been removed by now. However, I would appreciate toxic seedling nodes as a permanent fixture
Untraversable? What. I still like doing these and you only need a couple of people, often soloable if you catch it near the spawn time.
