I see so many people QQing about non zerker builds joining meta runs and slowing them down. Well heres the thing, it works both ways.

Every night without fail someone will join my “relaxed non meta fun run” and cry about going to slow, or just rush off not letting new players read abilities on forms or learn.

Please respect it, its gotten to the point i just dont want to play any more.

Also, if someone specifically states “scale 5 fractal” and you join and beat the group there and open a scale 9, you are an kitten.

The only way to beat this is to only run with friends or guildies. Now that there are no more instance owners, this is the only way to control this :c

This is what kick is for. I start many friendly run. If one person join and start complain always about this is wrong to slow or stack or start talking bad about how it work they get a kick. Then advertise again and it fill up fast with player that do not mind no stress run. I do not like to kick but if player join my friendly no stress run and start going on about how bad it is then I do not mind to kick them. It hurt them more than my group when they waste their time for group they did not want. A minute later I fill their spot after kick with some person that is not so rude.

Also, if someone specifically states “scale 5 fractal” and you join and beat the group there and open a scale 9, you are an kitten.

Also you can fix this by start fractal level you want before make LFG.

That’s not the point though. The point is to respect and follow the LFG. If the LFG says they want to do level 5, then you shouldn’t join and force the group to do level 9; you should make your own group or find a group that wants to do level 9.

thanks Seera thats exactly my point.

im starting to realize i may be getting to old for the genre though and maybe its not the games fault. Expecting respect anywhere in online games is a fools journey it seems.

ah well, for those that stay though ill leave the PSA up. Cheers all.

Doesn’t matter whether or not somebody is playing full glass or full tank or whatever.

The moral of the story is, stop being kittens to people, everybody.

If you don’t like people that post “full run METAZERK 80s only 8k+ AP ele/ele/warr/thief/guard”, then just don’t join their groups. Leave them alone.

If you’re one of those kind of players and don’t like people that play in random builds or wanna kill everything slowly and play with whatever class comps they feel like, then don’t join them. Leave them alone.

It’s really not hard.

I wonder how much of that is just not paying attention since that popup automatically enters the highest scale out of all the people in the group.

Then wouldn’t that likely for many players now be something higher than 9?

And even in the instance that it is, that wouldn’t be forcing players to do 9, that’s making a mistake and easily corrected if it was a mistake.

I’ve seen this behaviour two weeks ago too. Opened an “all welcome” lfg search, 3 lvl 80s joined us, everything was ok so far. But then a lvl 76 joined as well and was almost insta-kicked from the others. I thought “Why the heck do a*holes like this even join when I write all welcome?” and further on, during the dungeon ride (I bitterly stayed… this were the last tokens I needed for a skin…) two of them even complained on how low our damage was, writing “STACK!!!1!11!!” all the time.

That’s one of the reasons my friends (the few that didn’t leave the game after 3 years) almost completely avoid dungeons by now. I don’t even play the game anymore since I got the skin I wanted because this annoyed me afterwards even more than during the run.

Long story short: Everyone, please read and respect other players.
