Please allow deletion of items without typing in long descriptions.

You only have to type the name if it is Rare level or above. It is so you don’t accidentally delete something valuable that you wish to keep.

Well, there are only quite a few items that require to type their names. The only ones I constantly get (and delete) are the Mawdrey parts from LS S2, but that are just 3 or 4 per char.

I meant Rare(edited to reflect). Most players would know it as yellow or above.

I can delete rare and exotic weapon and armor without typing the names. I just have that extra dialogue box where I have to click “yes”. Actually typing the name is only necessary for very rare (or unique) items.

Why don’t you have us type in the name backwards with no a’s and replaceing o’s with 1’s and ….

The feature was added in because of people complaining when they accidentally deleted an important item.

This. It was an extra safeguard for important items getting lost and probably saves support a lot of time on a very small number of items trying to be claimed back after accidental deletion.

It’s a miniscule price to pay really.
