Aetherblade goggles jump is very, very hard to achieve since its LS part has gone. But it is now part of the diving achievement.
I have earned this achievement with my 1st account long ago, before this jump was added in it … lucky 1st account ! But now my biggest regret in this game is not to have done this with my other account before this new jump was added !
I am usually considered good at JPs. Not that good, but more than a lot of people (who enjoy my mesmer’s portals btw). But the aetherblade one is clearly the hardest one in the game, and I have a hard time going to the jp/goggles crossing. Once there, going to the goggles way will kill me because of this single bad designed rock, and I always die when jumping with goggles (ok, I have tried this last jump 4 times only yet …)
As mentioned in my 1st sentence, it has BECOME too hard. Why ? Because now there is nobody to rez dead people (when they die in reachable places), and nobody to kill mobs (especially the ones on bottom that will randomly put you in combat while you jump on pillars, and mostly can’t be killed from said pillard because of perma-reset bug). Also, a bug seems to have appeared : perma-combat. Espacially if hit by the fire trap on the 1st part of the ship. Going to character selection screen is the only way to go ooc.

I can see 2 ways of solving the issue (other than saying “just try harder and don’t QQ”) :
- Remove this jump from the diving achievement and/or move it to a new achievement.
- Fix the puzzle : remove mobs (or make them respawn later, and remove resetting mechanism from the ones under the pillars); rework that slippery rock at the beginning of the goggles-only path; fix impossible-to-ooc bug on fire trap; AND add checkpoints/autorez (if this is easier to dev : let us use the nearby waypoint for rez, add golems like in the Nightmare Tower : (a) after going through the mountains, at the beginning of the ship room (b) at the crossing of puzzle/goggles paths before the slippery rock © near the goggles)
