It is really stupid, you’re getting half of the world pop in GW2 unhappy because a lot of people are missing out. I got my event done but I DO care for other because you’re losing the community!

It was an exploit anyway. They said players who didn’t get a chance to participate or those who got DC’d would have their chance.

I just learned this. But this is Anet fault if the game is bugged and misleading people! Those misled people are upset, I’m just speaking on behalf of them.

I don’t mind missing out on one-time events. I DO mind when those one-time events give away precursors like candy and suddenly make a bunch of players super rich. Why would you do this, Anet?

The post doesn’t specifically say players who didn’t attend but I’m not quite sure how ANet would differentiate between the two so I assume they will just do something for the community as a whole.

I understand people are upset, but no matter how ANet rolls the dice people will always be upset. It is in human nature. I am just trying to provide some closure for those who are not pleased with how things went.

Give us the event again please. For us who did not have a chance to participate or got disconnected. Otherwise, to quote Trahearne, this isn’t going to end well.

The most reasonable thing to do would be the have a chest appear at the docks that people who didn’t get the chance to grab could grab. Just make it loot from Southsun or whatever they need to do to justify it.

This one time event reminds me of the first world event in Rift. How is it even possible Anet couldn’t have learned from that sad and botched event? I was really pissed to hear that I have been working hard trying to get a legendary and, because I had to WORK today, missed out on a good chance to help work on it.
Seriously and very pissed off about this. People do WORK on Sundays Anet, this isn’t the DARK AGES anymore! Seriously considering weather or not this game is even worth playing after being shafted this bad.

You are misinformed by a tons, go do some research before typing another reply.

A lot of people didn’t get the chance to participate due to the timezone. That is the issue, also many people are grateful the event appear again on Overflow server without realizing it is was bugged or exploit. But many are taking this moment and chance to participate.

In the end, we mostly get d/c boot and crash. + new build end of all.
