They stand there and are the primary forcus for your interact button, so you have to wiggle and move around when you get to one of these places to actually use the thing. Random NPCs and charr soldiers and whatnot are not what I want to interact with when I run up to these locations, yet they block the way like NPC trolls :/

I have royal terrace pass. No problem with NPC there. I almost never go to LA now.

I must be super unlucky then, every time I run up to the bank or TP there is some random Local or other NPC standing right at the interaction point

Yes, the NPCs around the bank and Mystic Forge are just there to troll the players.

Well Miyani IS placed right between the WP and the forge, directly in its path :/

well since the extremely wide spread out layout of LA annoys me i usually go to a racial city. I got a forge conduit…so the only times i actually still go to LA is if i go fractals.

Or maybe we could get some boxes for those Asura to stand on.

I agree with the OP on this, but I think Anet placed them there for a reason – which is not to annoy us but to prolong our stay in the game, be it those extra seconds it takes to swear at the NPC, move a bit and try again.

Just like the Moa placed down to the right of where Claw of Jormag lands in phase 1. If you Tab-target when trying to target the wall, you’ll get the Moa first, and fire your first load of rockets at it. Every time.

Not a fan of these NPCs but in the two cities where this is a problem(DR and LA) only one of the NPCs seem to have this issue. In LA it is the left more and in DR it is the right most NPC. You can simply go to the non-problematic NPC and avoid the issue. Not sure about the TP since I don’t go there much.

If you can’t use your key bind or you can’t click on the icon then click on the NPC how hard can that be??

I agree that they can be inconvenient at times, but nowhere near enough to need removing, I actually like seeing them, it adds some life to the city and the bank/TP, without them, ignoring the players, the trader’s forum area would seem pretty lifeless in my opinion.

What about those two kids that constantly remind you that Marjory and Kasmeer are banging each other

When you go to your home instance, and head for the candy corn node, three kids run up to that node making you talk to them instead of harvesting the node. You have to wait for them to run past it, or manually target the node.

That is just in the human home instance although the other races have their own annoyances as well.

yea please do that. Just change the path of that npc, dont let him walk near bank npc, because I cant open bank inventory when he is near. I have to click on the npc which is hard because 1000 people are around him…

just click the thing you want to interact with instead and then press F

I’ve experienced it, but it’s not a sufficient concern to need them to be removed. I just move a little farther and it stops being a problem

they could just make them non interact-able… make them like every other npc that you cant interact with…. cant be that hard.

it would be nice if those two kids that constantly remind you that Marjory and Kasmeer are doing something. and the random npc.s that block that bank space was removed from the game or turned off so they did not speak or move . as there has been more then once i had t move around or go to the crafting areas to use the personal bank .

I was trying so hard not to say something negative about the new LA, but I have to agree. It’s too spread out. I’ve been using Black Citadel since the revamp. I appreciate that the new layout makes it feel more like a real city, but as a player in a game, it’s frustrating as all feline.

Ebonhawke has the best layout with everything you need in one street – except the guild bank unfortunately. If it had that, I’d move there.

I go to Lion’s Arch all the time and I don’t think I’ve ever had a problem interacting with the banker.
