Please rework NPC dialogue.

Your skin will wrinkle and your youth will fade, but your soul is endless.
The least they could do is make it happen a LOT less frequently.
Standing by one of the vendors, I heard “they say we’re headed into the heart of the Maguuma jungle. That thought gives me the chills” three times in succession. Then again just 10 seconds or so later.
I don’t see why we have to take orders from mice and talking cabbages!
TAKE HEED! I HAVEN’T TAKE LEAVE OF MY SENSES!
..why, no, I’m not letting that one go until that NPC gets eaten by a Mordrem wolf.

Is it true that the head of this outfit is a sylvari?
(It’s been a couple months since I’ve bothered to enter this zone and I still have all the dialogue memorized…..)
I’m sorry but after “CITIZENS” I am immune to annoyance from repeated dialogue in GW2. Here’s a sample that doesn’t begin to do justice to how he spat out that word each time someone new approached.
The NPC’s that you can motorboat and make them repeat themselves over and over… it makes me want to ram an ice pick into my ears. I was doing Ooze King in Orr and that one NPC..
“Hey, keep quiet or you’ll give us away to the Orrians.”
When the zerg arrives it’s no longer us giving away the location to the Orrians, it’s that NPC.
The least they could do is make it happen a LOT less frequently.

^This. I doubt that they will re-work any dialog. Devs talk a lot about how much voice work costs, so what we have is probably what we get. T
The frequency however… They certainly can tone that down.
I think, after a couple years of playing, that Anet would get much more longevity out of the voice acting if they’d put longer times between quotes from static NPC’s.
It keeps some level of newness to the game when you’ve been playing for a year and still you come across something that you’ve never seen or heard before.
While we’re at it, can we make it so my mesmer doesn’t announce their boon from signet of inspiration every freaking time? That’s getting really annoying when I’m idling in Lions Arch and every 10 seconds she’s shouting “There’s the power!” at me.
I CITIZENS agree, sometimes the CITIZENS dialogue/ambient chatter can be a little CITIZENS annoying.
Pity there CITIZENS haven’t been any CITIZENS examples that would have CITIZENS taught them moderation and CITIZENS how not to annoy the CITIZENS freaking CITIZENS crap out of people.
Maybe CITIZENS someday CITIZENS we’ll CITIZENS run into CITIZENS a scenario CITIZENS that is CITIZENS just CITIZENS so CITIZENS annoying CITIZENS people CITIZENS complain CITIZENS enough CITIZENS that CITIZENS they CITIZENS actually learn CITIZENS moderation.
Or CITIZENS better variety.

You’re just trying to make me relive that time in LA, ScribeTheMad, aren’t you? As I said, I am IMMUNE.
