Hi guys,

Its a consense between member that beat the hardcore eents, that wurm is really weak in terms of rewards. It is the most hardcore and hard event at the moment avaiable, But the rewards are not even in match with the others.

Tequatl, by far, give the larger ammounf of reward (2 Gold, 3 rares, around of 15k karma(?) chance for 2 different minis, a rare acquabreather (Only avaiable at here) and the usual 20 greens/blues. Also, we have chances at ascended armors and weapons chests, and a chance at a unique tequatl ascended skin weapon)

Karka queen, its not very hardcore, it is pretty easy, but the rewards are in match with the event (4-5 champ loot bags, 2 rares, and all the loot that you can get from events (T6 mats, drops and karma), also a high chance for settler insignias that usually can be sold for 2~~3 G ).

The 3-head wurm is the most hardcore event, with a large chance of fail even amongst experienced and well organizated teams. The rewards consists basically in 4+1 champ loot bags, aroun of 1,5 k karma, 10-15 green/blues and chances for ascended armors/weapons, along with rare chace at a valuable mini or a unique wurm armor/weapon).

It is very, very weak rewards for such a hardcode 1 hour preparation event. Someteimes I don’t even get a single rare (Wich is guaranteed at any other wordl bosses).

So, I am here to ask a rework on wurm rewards, to at leas be in pair with it difficult.

Thanks for the attention guys

PS : Only for fun – I’ve killed tequatl over 100 times and yet didn’t got any ascended, mini or large goodies.
I’ve killed wurm over 20 times, and yet not even a exo. =P

I’ll just copy and paste the response I get on another forum.

If ‘effective’ is a factor, you’re just after gold, then you obviously choose the most ‘effective’ reward path; content doesn’t matter to you.
If content does matter to people, they do content they enjoy; then ‘effective’ doesn’t matter. I really don’t get it … people are complaining that they have to do content they like MORE OFTEN to earn the same reward than content they hate LESS OFTEN.
WUT?

And why not Content that match with effective factor? Since is a risky facotr? =P

Its how it should be.
The effective factor = guaranteed, but lesser rewarded
The risky factor = Risky, but larger rewarded if beat.

So.. both sort of players get their right reward, based on what the prefer to do.
Bam, done.

Tequatl seems to drop stuff more often than Wurms in a general sense from my experience running it every day, and there are the unique skins to it. Maybe Wurms is just a test, because it doesn’t seem like a champion of any dragon (maybe, just maybe, Mordremoth), yet Tequatl IS a champion of Zaithan empowered by some unknown forces, if they are to match lore with rewards then maybe that’s the way it goes.

Attempts at ele specs:
Shaman
Conjurer

Lol, wurm has never been about the rewards. If you do not like this, then Im sorry, but you might want to try to do something else that gives better rewards during your playtime.

Thats exactly my point.

WHY? WHY punish players that like this sort of event, with such horrible rewards? I mean.. run headless in queensdale for 15 minutes makes you get more goodies than prepare for 1 hour to defeat a highi probablity of fail boss.

I’m finding myself running wurm less and less, just like you said me to do. Not because I dislike it, I LOVE it. But why i need to play content i dislike (Champ train, i.e.) just because the real hard events are too weak in rewards?

Note that my usual runs actually are aways things like fractals lv50, tequatl, wurm and Tpvp. So.., yes I like hardcore gameplay. But seens to not make sense when the casual players run in a circle killing champs endless is the only way to really have goodies.

I know dungeon runs helps too, Cof p1, SEp1,Ac p3 adn HOTW p1. Runs that takes 1 hour to be complete and gives a ton of gold. But really far from “Hardcore” play.

either way, I only think that you guys coming here to tell that wurm rewards don’t need to be changed, are only players that dislike hardcore gameplay, and feel confortable with easy things.

Of course it has never been. Because the rewards suck.

But then again, rewards in this game don’t make any sense. Some mind numbing things are more rewarding than harder things. Dungeon cash reward doesn’t make any sense. RNG is king of everything else.

And the most rewarding thing is to not play the game but have “fun” with the TP.

I don’t know about factors and all the other verbal spaghetti of 5 dollar words. What I do know is I killed the wurm today for my first time. I had a blast and enjoyed the content. However I was disappointed with the rewards. Greens and one rare. Will I do the content again? Sure, it was fun. However it is okay to not feel the rewards match the work put in. Doesn’t mean you hate the content, but for me it makes the victory less rewarding other than warm fuzzy feeling of winning. Bad rewards do breed resentment in the community which leads to little gems like map chat QQing.
