I logged in after the Wintersday patch and a friend of mine told me about the new mini Snow Flurry Dragon so I went to the Promotions tab on the gem store to see what it cost.

The first thing I came across was the bundle and I was all ready to complain that once again they were forcing us to buy a bunch of stuff we didn’t want to get new, unique items.

Thankfully I scrolled down a bit further and noticed that not only the mini but also the outfit are available separately this time! (Which means the only thing exclusive to the pack is the Immortal Weapon.)

This is a really nice example of Anet actually acting on player feedback. They released items only as bundles, numerous people said they wanted the option to buy those items separately, now we’re being offered both choices.

(And I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the Soul River Glider will also be made available separately at some point.)

I wouldn’t cross your fingers too hard. I don’t really see past bundles being split up as there are already no doubt tons of people who begrudgingly bought the bundle for one or two items that would be majorly ticked off if they suddenly split them apart.

It is nice that this one (and hopefully future ones) are separate though, for sure.

I too am glad to see it split up, so thank you for that.
