Guild Wars 2

Just have some questions about the new elite specs that the video did not give. Good presentation but left me with a lot of confusion about aspects of the new elite specs.

All

• Do we get new utility skills as well like with the previous elite specs? (Revenant not included)
• Do any elite specs force the player to give up something?

Deadeye

• Is the mark or “contract” an f2 ability?

Firebrand

• do the books replace weapon skills?
• What is the book of courage going to do?
• Is the axe main or offhand?

Holosmith

• Is there a new weapon for engineer?
• What does holo mode do?
• Does overheating hurt you or just enemies?

Mirage

• Is the camouflage an f5 shatter? What is it?
• Is the axe main or offhand?
• What is the new dodge mechanic? Invulnerability instead of dodge?

Renegade

• Shortbow or longbow?
• Is there a new mechanic attached?
• Are the new abilities summons?

Scourge

• Are the shroud abilities f1-f5 or is it a kit?
• Do they use shroud % or drain it gradually?

Soulbeast

• Does merging give stat bonuses based off pet?
• If you go down merged does your pet go down as well?

Spellbreaker

• Is there a new burst mechanic attatched?
• Can you wield one dagger or do you need both?

Weaver

• Can you stack 2 of the same element
• Does order matter (is fire+water different to water+fire)?
• Are the skills your 1-5 or are they entirely seperate?
• Do you need to use sword with the elite spec to use it or can you run staff with it?
