this is for the american side of tyria :P

1. Will we be able to buy the standard edition or any edition Path of fire for gems at anytime?

2. if so. will it be available at launch? ….

3. what would i expect the gem cost to be? judging the HOT digital deluxe is 2800 gems I thought around that price but if anyone knows facts , doesnt hurt to ask

HoT was never able to be purchased for gems, just the upgrade from standard to deluxe. I can’t imagine that Anet will offer PoF for gems but the upgrade from PoF standard to deluxe is available for gems just like HoT and core.

It will not be available for gems because ANet actually want you to pay money for the expansions, not gems you converted from gold.

No, it will not be able to be purchased for Gems, just as Heart of Thorns is not able to be purchased for Gems. What you see in the Gem Store is the upgrade to the Deluxe Edition from Standard (for Core, Heart of Thorns, and Path of Fire).

A person must pay cash for the (no-restrictions)Core game, for Heart of Thorns, and for Path of Fire.
