Is there any way I can remove the glow? I have this for the stats but hate the glow

Assuming you’re not trolling — which is a kittenumption — you could simply replace it with this:

You have a very very expensive charged quartz jewel if you weren’t in it for the glow.

Cost of the Quartz version: under 3 gold (potentially under 50 silver)

• 40 silver in unbound mats.
• Up to 2 gold in quartz to make the charged quartz (although you might already have this from e.g. ToTs or Wintersday gifts)
• 2 silver for the recipe (on the TP)

Cost of the Orange Refractor:

• 20 gold

edit: updated per juno’s accurate correction that one might need to convert 25 quartz, which would be another ~2g in mats

Technically the 25 quartz to make the Charged Quartz Crystal will cost just over 2g.

I looked at the glow and I thought it would be nicer on my character than it actually is. I should use preview more.

If you use an extraction tool, you can salvage the glow and re-sell it. If you’re not too attached to the trinket it’s in, you can use a BLC salvage charge on it.
