Guild Wars 2

Have we heard anything about whether Polymock is still being worked on? Just curious as I really enjoyed the content in gw1 and was looking forward to seeing what they’d do to it in gw2. Thank you for any response I receive. :]

Probably scrapped it like many other things with no word. We do still have this though.

Those sort of games-within-the-game can be surprisingly difficult to get right… and lo will there be rage if you get it wrong, ESPECIALLY when it’s a game people remember from before.

To be honest, their attempts at such mini-games (like Costume Brawl, or Keg Brawl) don’t particularly instill me with much confidence they’d be able to do Polymock justice.

They haven’t told us anything about not getting it either though

I think it’s a given that anything that didn’t get done for launch probably got put in a to do list that hasn’t once been touched.

We’ll probably get player housing before polymock, but not before the sun explodes at the rate Anet develops.

I think Anet wants to do Polymock. Its one of those colorful things that helps define the Asura. The arenas and asura gate are on the map, so I still have hope. I think a PvP version would be very popular as long as it had real pvp rewards. People gotta have their points.
