Portal Device?
Watchwork portal device.
Thanks! I also guess it is a consumable item? One time use?
The http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Experimental_Teleportation_Gun also creates a portal for a few seconds, but it’s created automatically at the start and end of the leap, so its applications are more limited.
One use only and hellishly expensive at the current sprocket prices, so practically useless. It cannot even be used in WvW which would be about the only use where the price might be somehow justifiable.
Indeed, one use consumable that will teleport you to an utterly random place.. I bought 100 of these for no real purpose but I used them on freshly created toons to get a head start on map completion in random zones. What I did notice was that it mostly teleported me to Cursed Shore a lot and more frequently Brisban Wildlands or the asura starting zones.. Ridiculously expensive but it’s certainly interesting to use.

fixed that for ya
5 ori ingot = 5 – 10s
1 charged lodestone = ~2 – 4g
250 watchwork sprocket = 3 – 10g
2 master tuning crystal = 30 – 70s
total = 5g35s – 14g80s
divided by 2 = 2g67s – 7g40s per device
or buy it from the TP (I can’t seem to find the price anywhere right now, but I know it’s hella cheap in comparison – something like 30-80s?)
Anyways, all of these prices are around 10x as much as anyone would actually use them. And it’s not just watchwork sprockets that make it really expensive.

There’s also this item: Teleport to Friend.
You get them in black lion chests and it allows you to teleport to a party member’s location in PvE. (If more than one party member, it chooses randomly)
