Here’s my ranger.
Vest is Krytan skin from the gem store.
Pants are Prowler
Boots are Outlaw
Gloves are Pirate
and Cheetah backpack.

Here is my Guardian: Armor is all Transmuted. Chest is Rampagers reinforced Scale, Boots, Shoulders, are Avengers (Tier 2 Cultural ), leggings are Berserker’s Barbarian. The Guantlets are United Arcanists Lab (Karma from outpost near Teq). Weapons are: Flaming Dragon Sword (HOM reward) skin over an exotic sword, Exotic Torch with dragon skin, and I use a Bramble Thorn staff (Sylvari) with a Dragon skin.

Here is my Thief: Armor is all transmuted. Chest, leggings, and gloves are Vigorous leather, Boots are Surplus Lion Guard (karma at Stonehaven outpost in Wayfar), and the mask is a Vital Seekers. I transmuted 2 Krytan Pistols to use exotic stats, and 2 stock Usoku’s needles.

Zoia, your look kinda reminds me of Queensblade. Very nice!

I always go with a more armored look with my Mesmer and avoid stuff that looks like robes. Unfortunately, most of the gloves boots on those sets suck so I had to look elsewhere, thus my mix and match. First photo is what I WAS wearing (Vigil with Svanir Boots/Gloves) now I’m wearing the new steampunk armor set with the Svanir Boots and Exotic Acolyte Gloves to keep my more ‘armored’ look (really the gloves that came with the Aetherblade Armor were horrible).

I am saddened by the lack of cultural armor for Sylvari players as compared to Sylvari NPCs.

I am bored by anyone wearing NON mix ‘n’ match armor.

I despise trench coats.

What to do for a Sylvari Ranger? Here’s what I came up with:

Head: Vigil Mask (she is Order of Whispers, but they have their sneaky ways!)
Shoulders: Cultural Tier 3 Firstborn Shoulderguards
Coat: Cultural Tier 1 Nightshade Coat
Gloves: Cultural Tier 1 Nightshade Gloves
Legs: Prowler Pants dyed to make the shirt appear longer
Boots: Cultural Tier 3 Firstborn Boots

Looks “Rangery”. Looks sleek. Looks very cultural. And NO TRENCHCOAT! (Yay!)

Haha, yeah! It’s funny to see people with a mind thinking almost the same. But I’m also glad that there’s a lot of creativity at this thread with everyone’s armorsets. Hopefully I could get new inspiration to other characters I make!

An update of my characters from much earlier in the thread, hope you like them!

My warrior Skairn Dragonbane and ranger Tavian Willowsong

I was aiming for a pirate-type look. Something more casual and not so puffy or stereotypical with over the top l337 style.

Boots are the apprentice armor. I liked the way they got cut off by the pants. It fit nicely. The only thing I hate is those darn arm guards. They come with the shirt and cut off every set of gloves, even the molten alliance set. It’s ridiculous!

My “angelic” Warrior attemp,maybe I will edit later with a high quality image (I hate how the print screen images destroy the pic even if you are using the highest settings :\)

Here is my ele. I dislike the human T3 on males, so here is my current look with a number of rather inexpensive pieces:

Eyepatch: named exotic
Shoulder: exalted (crafted)
Chest: sorrow’s embrace
Gloves: Masquerade (crafted)
Legging: named exotic
Boots: Karma exotic

Dyes include Redemption, Midnight blue and Icing.
