Never liked my Mesmer, been toying with this set every since Flamekissed got a reskin for me Elementalist, but it ended up on my Mesmer somehow. Old look and new. (In between just a phoenix set with feathered headpiece, so boring.)

Set 1: Elite Acolyte, Whispers Top, Whisper Gloves, Arah Leggings, Karma Shoes (forgot their name, only visiable in Warden’s spin/underwater)
Set 2: Feathered headpiece, Cabalist Shoulders, Phoenix Tops/Gloves, Flamekissed Leggings/Shoes, though looking for alternative shoes/gloves.

Adiantum Skythorn, on the battlefield and about to visit the bank (they might ask her to take her helmet off). It took forever to find somewhere light enough to get a decent screenie and it still looks too dark for details.

The trick I’ve found is to face into the light. Look where your shadow is pointing and put that behind you. If your settings don’t show shadow, pan around your character to see which side is lit up, and turn your front to that side. This game has a dramatic difference based on lighting angle — I was RPing in a cave with some people the other night and my light minty green leaves were a dull blue on the shadowed side.

Yeah, I tried doing that and I still wasn’t satisfied. After I posted I found a place that seemed absolutely perfect for lighting but do you think I remember where it was?Nope. The character’s colouring is even too dark for details to be seen clearly on my character selection screen, though that is probably something on my side.

With the wardrobe system I was able to experiment a bit and that’s what I got out of it.

Superb job! I wasn’t enamored of the heavy ascended but you use it perfectly.

I just hit 80 on a Mesmer and got to gear him up. ICly he’s very Scarlet Pimpernel, so when hanging out he is in vivid petals and utterly obsessed with being fashionable. But when he’s doing his Whispers work, he covers up the flamboyance. I might work on the dyes a bit as it’s somewhat cliche to be all black and dark grey.

Divine helm (includes shoulders), Whispers coat, Aurora gloves, Vigil legs, Aurora boots. I’ve given him a Seraph focus, Priory scepter, and Ebon Vanguard greatsword.

And here’s the level 80 look with a new hairstyle and TA shoulders. I really love the metallic glint of the Strider armor in right lighting.

I’m in the middle of making a custom set for my thief (Scarim Coral) and my Warrior (Farlan Rakarson) thanks to the Wardrobe system.

Originally I want to make my thief more assassin like (however in my opinion, only the Sneakthief armor and Human T3 only capture the GW Assassin profession look) but the overall result for the time being seen to make him look more like a sky captain-

Head- Noble Google (I only using this at the moment cos the usual medium armour class mask (cover lower part of the face) doesn’t seen to suit it.
Shoulder- Outlaw Shoulder (either this or the Commando shoulder)
Chest- Temple chest
Glove- Heritage glove (Leather glove also work but I don’t it’s pratical per say since I used pistol and wearing studdy leather glove would affect the trigger in my view).
Pant Temple pant (I would change this again since I don’t want to used the same set more than once.)
Boot- Rogue Boot

My warrior on the other hand is not having the desired result I want it to have. I’m trying to make him more like a galidator/ barbarian sort of look as in less armour and one of the arms is more armoured than the other but I want him to have a long skirt for the pant. At the moment the head, chest and arms matched but the others parts not so much. Also none of the shoulder armours compliment the current set it (since I got the spike/ sharp look going I want the shoulder to be one side and spiky too).
