Sadly I am way to OCD for my armor to be mixed and matched, just wanted to say I love the ideas for armor combinations people came up with in this post, they are pretty awesome, maybe I will go for one again, in the meantime keep up the good work everyone-in-this-post-that-is-not-me ^^

My elementalist – t1 cultural pants with masquerade shoulders, student chest, and apprentice boots. Midnight rose and midnight elm for the colors. I try to go with a more regal look for her, and even went with the “old” human face.

My Necro after getting the wings. Seen some posts here saying not many know how to match the wings to the armor, I think I nailed it

This is my favorite and only look I use in Guild Wars 2. I’m a simple guy, I also love the chef outfit

Probably my favorite part about reaching 80, dressing up! Had my doubts about my Norn guardian wich I only just lvled since they often just look fat to me, but loving it the mix.

My main is my Charr warrior, sadly alot of armor for charr look plain bad, but I love the T3 with T2 legs and Heritage boots.

And the others are just eye candy

I had fun figuring out a good mix for my Ele. I used a mix of Aetherblade and Nighmare to find a good mix of plant and academic aesthetics. I also decided to add in the fused gauntlets to add a bit of a fiery touch since she likes to use fire too.

Later I switched out the Aetherblade helmet for the Mask of the Night, because I wanted something prettier that would also show off her wonderful new hairstyle.

For my engineer I immediately fell in love with the raised collar look of the Forgeman shoulders but I thought the rest of the set was a bit cliche for an engi. The Gas Mask skin came out, and I thought it was a cool engi looking alternative to the Forgeman helmet. The chest I choose because it had the look of armor without being too bulky and the gloves and boots I choose for some extra flair.

My sneaky 2nd mesmer, K Ki. She’s the smallest I could make her. (The Queen Jenna mini comes up to her ear.) Without her name tag she would blend into most backgrounds.

Went for a more armored look, with a wing theme.

Just a suggestion…
But if you have a very dark character, maybe taking pictures in an equally dark environment is not the best idea if you’re trying to show other people your armor setup?

Alrightie, here’s mine.

From top to bottom:

Winged Headpiece
Conjurer Mantle
Carapace Vestments
Sorcerer’s Livery
Whisper’s Secret Leggings
Sorcerer’s Shoes

Primary Colors are Black Blood and Bronze, save the medallion on the leggings, which is Gold (or at least, was 2 seconds after taking this picture) Was originally thinking Gold instead of Bronze, but that felt too bright and guady for a Necromancer, so I just left the medallion gold, ’cause the bronze is too dark to really see on that part. Might use a darker metallic yellow, like Prosperity, if I ever get around to buying the color though.

I might decide to swipe the Head n’ Shoulders for the Whisper’s Secret Cowl, and maybe Carapace shoes would fit better that Sorcerer’s, even though you usually can’t see them.

My Necro: Arah Chest and shoulders, Dry Bones Leggings and boots with the Skull Masque.

The back is the karka shell

Weapons are Reaver of the Sunless and whispers focus

Dyes are Midnight blue, algae, cucumber, and icing

Please leave me any feed back to improve on the look of my character. Currently I have been doing triple trouble for a year now trying to get the acid gloves to match my Necro but I just don’t have the rng luck for it.
