Courtesan sort of look for my thief. Whisper/Vigil/TA mix

I said it somewhere in the first 10 pages but I’ll say it again. I absolutely love this thread and seeing how much fun people seem to have.

Can I ask a dev to Stickie this thread? I find this thread amazingly helpful when looking for new and creative ways to mix armor.

Updated my guardian main with new phalanx pieces, so now it is:

- T3 Gloves and boots
- Phalanx Armor, shoulders and legs

So I was having a look at how the dwayna backpiece would fit my engineer, and a friend suggested to check out the backpiece together with the dwayna longbow…now I have a problem o.o

Please anet, can you let engineers use longbows, as in soon?

Splint pauldrons? AC Pauldrons?

If you’re trying to stick to that minimalist/semi realistic aesthetic.. maybe even consider changing to splint gauntlets?

My Warrior, in a mix of aetherblade heavy armor, ascalonian gauntlets, and a commando’s helm.

Lately I essentially got sick of having T3 cultural, and it’s sort of become really common/not even prestige any more. So I looked to mixed sets to try and be more unique.

Changed up my appearance from my last post a couple days ago.. hah. I’d have liked different legs, but it’s really hard to find nice leggings on a female that match the other pieces. I scoured the PvP locker to no real avail.

Also my alternate legs, for #datass

1 and 2 is my elementalist.
3 and 4 is my necromancer.
5 and 6 is my ranger.
7 and 8 is my guardian.
9 and 10 is my warrior.
11 and 12 is another ranger… a unfinished norn ._.
13 and 14 is my unfinished mesmer.
15 and 16 is my thief.

I also have a asura engineer and a charr warrior but haven´t bought armor for them yet. What do you guys think?

Wearing: T2 cultural shoulders, Whispers chest, T1 cultural gauntlets, T3 cultural legs, basic white boots, all reskinned to exotic gear.

And lowbie thief (lvl 23)

Wearing: Krytan chest, Aetherblade medium legs, blue rarity lvl20 gloves and whispers boots. And the hidden thief hood.

So like a lot of other people I’ve started the arduous task to get Ascended gear.. :P

I made my first two pieces today and I’m pretty happy with the current set.

Shoulder: Student Mantle
Chest: Ascended
Gloves: Excavator (I’m sure they have another name too..)
Legs: Ascalonian Catacombs
Boots: Ascended

My Guardian, not completely happy with the gauntlets but its pretty close to teh way i want

I think they’re inspiring . In particular 1 & 2 show better blending of the coat and leggings than I would have expected.
