It’s even more fun to take you /age in hours and divide it by 16, assuming some form of sleep, nourishment and hygiene. Look how many full days you’ve spent on Guild Wars.
If you’ve played 7000 hours since launch, for example, that means that you’ve spent 65% of your waking hours since launch date on Guild Wars 2.

I don’t think you should be sad about having no Legendary or map compleation. The most important part is that you have fun playing the game. If you don’t find crafting, trying to get legendary or map compleation fun, why should you do it? Eventually by doing the things you think is fun you will probably end up having atleast map compleation and maby even a Legendary. Well it may take another 30 years but you had fun while doing it. There are other players who aim to get bragging rights and just burn through those parts of the game and then they are totaly burnt out on the game overall.
I have map compleation finnished but that is becouse I find exploring entertaining and interesting but Legendary is for me totaly unimportant becouse they are ugly (There are much cooler exotic weapons) and i find grinding booring so I go with the mindset that if I get a Precursor and can craft a legendary I will sell it.

I do think he or she’s being light hearted in this case!
However, I bought the game and tried it and didn’t know what I was doing, so then stopped playing for many many months. I finally started reading forums and so on to learn how to play and how to make builds and then I started really playing. Now, my husband wishes I’d never heard of this game >.<

Of course I’m being lighthearted in the first post. In no way was I trying to insult anyone. For anyone offended by what I said, here’s a lesson: No one can offend you. You can only choose to take offense.
I honestly would play more if I could. Unfortunately, the date of the release was the same week I started my Master’s degree. That doesn’t leave much time to play. I started the thread out of pure curiosity, knowing that there are others who enjoy the game very much and have invested a lot of time in it.
Everyone’s life is different, I understand that. I played WoW more than I do GW2, but at that time due to a number of factors, I could and would. I enjoy GW2 more, but am just unable to play more at this time. Again, no ill intentions with the first post.

I did take a 6 month break at one point so that makes the numbers nicer. heh.

Huh, I thought I’d be in the top end but I’m at 4,031 hours 11 mins over 685 days, 1,447 hours 50 mins of that on my RP/LS main. That’s with 13 80s and a ton of RP time, mostly played in the evenings after work and on weekends.

Wow, you guys are awesome… love the comments. lol I suppose I’m not yet entitled to complaining that I haven’t gotten a precursor from the sound of it.
Indeed, ArchieD, I’ve never gotten a precursor drop and I even made it through the Karka Invasion without DC’ing, main map start to finish, got the chest which was spewing precursors like mardi gras beads to the crowds (but not to me). A guild mate got … Dusk? a GS precursor from that. Another guildie had the Moot’s precursor drop off a trash spider in AC explorable traps path. That’s all I’ve seen of precursor drops in all this time.
