Just for interest sake: Your first screenshot and some background info on it.

This is mine, taken on the 27th of August, 2012.
My very first character, and still my favourite. She has since undergone a complete makeover and rename. (Her hair was never supposed to be gray.. I chose the ..frost blue thing #sadface)

EDIT: just noticed barrel stuck in wall (bugged) over my characters head after I tossed it. I think that was the reason for the pic.

Oh, I’m also proud(?) to say that while leveling with my first character I took a screenshot at the end of EVERY SINGLE VISTA.

I forget what its called, some masquerade thing I think?

My very first was a character creation screenshot to save sliders (this was an early version of Donari, not how he ended up), from 4-27-12 at 2:35 pm eastern. My first in game was of the Options menu on top of a Norn Necro the same day at 3:17 pm, as I decided to play something I was unlikely to play in the live game in order to reduce spoilers, though over time I did test out most every starting situation I could.

Oh dear, I just realized I’ll be playing GW2 on my old computer for the next month. I’ll have to remember to email any screenshots before I junk it at the end.

For some reason, the below is my gw001.jpg. I have no idea why I took it. Guessing I pushed printscreen by mistake, lol. Date is 2012-04-30. Its the critter hunt event, apparently.

this is my first ever photo, figured it out by the time i got my character to 70 something, i took it because i thought the guys in the party were developers, and i was like " oooohhhh kitten, my friends won’t believe this! "

A bit of a boring screen shot. Had a problem with guild upgrade queuing not going through and taking the influence. Had to submit a screen shot to Anet support before the problem was fixed in the next patch.

Also this was at the time where was no trading post and people were trading via mail still.

August 25th, 2012. I didn’t even preview it before I uploaded…I wonder what it is!!!

My first in-game shot on 8/25/12. Ironically, I have video from the first BWE, but no screenshots.

I cant really remember when this was, but if i remember correctly it was during a closed stress test or something before the actual release of the game. And i think i just picked a server quickly since it was not a long test and if i remember correctly this was on Vabbi.

It is very long ago, can’t even recall if NDA was lifted back then. But it was a fun moment, lots of wvwvw golem zerging with some official GMs leading/helping!

Mine from 30th August of 2012. It was not the first because it’s named as gw007, but surely the 6 first were crappy so I deleted them.

I don’t even remember what that personal story quest was about xD
I prefer the second one though. Tybalt, a hood with visible hair + character dyed in order of whispers look = good old times!

About 20 days in, before I migrated to JQ. I think I mailed this to a friend so he could see my server, my display name and know what my character looked like. We still haven’t played online together after 2 1/2 years, work and life issues for him, he recently started back up but we simply don’t play at the same time.

My first screenshot in game was of a candy corn golem which I hadn’t seen before but that was some 3 months later and other than the golem it was nothing special.

Here is mine from a BWE back in April 2012. Not sure why I took it, maybe I thought that I can actually enter the UW through that portal.

14th May 2012, I think this was during beta.

I’m not sure it’s actually the first but this is the oldest one I can find right now. (My screenshots are a mess, haven’t finished sorting them after getting a new computer.)

It was taken during the first beta when Lion’s Arch was accessible. Originally just because I was so excited that humpback whales were in the game, but it also shows a few cool things like the old round map and the dodge bar above the utility skills.

I really loved the look of this screenshot because it really seemed she was enoying her surroundings as much as I did ( Still do!)

I was pretty blown away by the visuals at the time. Divinity’s Reach is still my favorite scenery in the game.

Each of my beta characters have become live characters, sometimes with class changes, but not this guy. Maybe I’ll have to turn him into a Revenant when HoT releases.

My first one from live of my character. I have some ones from BWEs, and 2 ‘live’ ones before this which were exactly the same of my map open in Queensdale, which, I think was an accident anyways, because why would I take a picture of that.

Im not entirely sure what was going on, but It seems my guild was invading LA during the first beta XD

A black lion chest dropped. I opened it with the key from the first set of personal story missions.
I got a rare thingy! Selling that was the first time I had over 1 gold. I felt very rich :p

I hope your computer has also been upgraded since then so you no longer have to run the game at potato quality?

I deleted my first 5 screenshots a long time ago, so the 6th one is gonna be my first one, I guess xD

Here’s my first GW2 screenshot, featuring my oldest GW2 character, a thief, created on 09/01/2012 right around 11:30 PM. This one was also my first 80, and my first to reach 100% world completion, but since accomplishing those things I’ve not played her much, and the thief is one of two professions I don’t have two of on my main account.

We were trying the game out during one of the Beta testing weekends. Much enthusiasm was had.

My first screenshot was taken October 6, 2012 @ 6:58 PM EST of a bunch of bots, when bots were a problem.

The first screenshot I took looks like it was a couple years ago in WvW, Picture of SM from that jumping puzzle tower thing in EB. Too bad this was long before first person was a thing!
