This is not to take away the good work Anet have done for us. Rather, this is a little peak into the past.

This is my old town clothes outfit which became my favourite mix and match set.

Fondest memories: Launch day, and some day in between launch and the November patch that released ascended gear. Probably a day I was in Queensdale looking at the swamp where SB is.

Fondest memories… Once it used to be an awesome mmo with a balance of population that allowed for solo roaming and zerging alike. Good times.

Roleplaying in Orr. It was my main working for the Pact in the R&D camp on cursed shore. Had an friend IC (in character) who visited with 2 of his guild mates, coming all the way from DR through the undead peninsula. Though the RP was interrupted by the tar elementals every 15 mins, it was glorious.

I later joined the RP guild and had great fun with them, even though our place in the uninstanced Salma district was put down a year ago. Good days…

My fondest memory of Guild Wars 2 was launch. The excitement of Guild Wars 2 after having played Guild Wars 1 since beta as well. Last night I was reminded of the transition.

Reminding me how far we’ve come.. while still being the same game.
Truthfully.. I’m scared for the future. I’m scared things will change. Because there’s always a demand for fresh experiences.. which means change. I don’t like change.

But that’s my own problem to deal with.

Fondest memory? Missing the November 2012 Karka chest due to disconnect while watching the laughable drop rate of precursors for like more than half of GW2’s population.

PS.: Yeah, bitter feelings.

Thanks for the GW1 pics. Reminds me how much fun I had there. The pics from Presearing were the best. I have yet to sort out why my GW1 experience didn’t translate to GW2, but I know I don’t have the loyalty or excitement that I had for GW1.

My fondest memory has to be beta. The anticipation for the new game.

My fondest memory were the mass bannings that happened due to “exploits”. There didn’t seem to be any warnings or temp bans. Permanent bans all around. I also seem to recall plenty of posts being deleted and people banned from these very forums. You know you dun messed up when people refer to your company as “The North Korea of Gaming”.
