I’m pretty sure you can jump off one of the airships in Arah SM and crater for a lot more damage than anywhere else in the game, provided you manage to hit a rock or something instead of falling into the abyss.

So what about running down a steep ramp? LA is (in)famed for this. Many times I’ve been running down a ramp and had to stop mid-way, or it would be like running-falling-dead. There’s not even a downed state from falling damage, you’re just dead, and I think I’ve taken about 15k damage at one time because the game’s gravity/momentum mechanics are still broken.

how in the heck is someone getting 14 million???? My highest on a lvl 800 is 1.3million.

I’ve had this happen plenty of times while on auto-run; I’m either near-death, or dead by the time I press R to un-toggle it.

The Tower of Nightmares always got me. At the top, if you foolishly jump on the stairs any further movement will impede massive amounts of damage due to the steepness. Alas, no screenshots.

Jump off the side of Rata Sum If you have a speed boon on you and aim juuuuuuust right, you can clear most (not all) of the sloped side and hit the ground underneath (?) the city.

I remember a similar thread a couple of years ago in which posters posited that warriors had an advantage as the fall damage is calculated in some manner off your health pool.

It’s not mine, you have to ask the author him-/herself.

Tip: Fall damage is a percentage of your max health. So use a warrior in max vitality equip

Perhaps even an Omega Golem in WvW if you somehow manage to get one up on a very high point.

One-Way Base Jumping is one of my favorite pastimes in GW2. Rata Sum is good and there are a few other places that offer a satisfying view on the way down.

I also like to Cube Surf in Rata Sum trying to make it down to the ground without dying. That of course lands you in jail.

I already hit the gold wall on this project I figured out what to do it’s just WAY too expensive.

btw. I got mine up to 5.1m in Rata Sum

A Norn Warrior in Sentinel’s with Bear form is, as far as I know, the highest HP in game. My last numbers were a bit <cough> “out” of the ordinary. IT could have been better as I was in PTV gear and not Sentinel’s. It’s just WAY too expensive to buy them for this one time fun. Though this Sky Diving challenge was fun to do!

My question is, how high does the damage need to get before you bounce?

I can’t remember my highest.

Amusingly enough, the highest I DID get, somehow caused me to get my “Master of Overkill” achievement.

We sort of made a thing out of it during the Horrorween, called The Amazing Swandive. Encouraging people to throw their characters off of high places… ah the joy of being an evil queen.

Walking down a slight slope on a mountain regularly takes about 20k
Hp’s from me. I suppose if I jumped from those demon slopes the damage would be in the millions.
