Bang up job on the back piece, got an Exotic level soldier’s this morning. Post a screen shot with your new look, here’s my guardian:

I would, but my Engie’s hobo sack is ruining the experience for me again.

Really, no one has this yet or do people hate it? I think this is one of the best they’ve done, honestly.

I have not gotten all the blueprint pieces yet. Was trying to not buy them off the TP. There are a couple people in my guild with them, they look awesome. The engineer will greatly appreciate it.

Will you be upgrading yours more?

yeah…no!
looks horrible, doesn’t even fit any of my characters and that includes my futuristic engineer.

No, my build needed an exotic level Soldier’s back piece (was trying to get into Grenth but that’s tough) so I just built this one up because I need to use a Celestial jewel as the upgrade and ascended pieces won’t hold that.

I have a ranger the ascended could go on so I may go that route, he has a very steam punk look that this piece what look good on.

I have ten characters and all have some sort of “theme” to their appearance and that back piece does not complement any of them.

I’m waiting to get home so I can finish mine, will fit perfectly my steampunk-ish warrior in the making

Humans with shield can’t have back items.

It’s bugged as hell.

I have the same item but will upgrade to the one with the green or blue glow when possible. It’s on my Engi Main and I’m hoping with his dragon helmet it will make him look dragon-ish lol. The helm has gold horns so hopefully it’s not such a bad look.

I finally got 500 leatherworker today and spent a good 50+ more gold to get my ascended spinal backpiece done. It’s just, I don’t know which character to put it on. My main elementalist has a fugly looking backpiece, but it’s already ascended and it cost me a fortune to make this backpiece too, so it would be a waste to both ascended back items.

My charr guardian doesn’t suit it because he has an elegant/lovestruck theme of icing/strawberry dyes with his lovestruck greatsword, not to mention the backpiece would look weird on him as it would be sloped on an angle.

Which brings me to my asuran guardian which I hardly ever use because he’s only level 31 and I already have my charr guardian which has almost half the map’s completion and a couple ascended items, so I really don’t know what to do :-/

I think I will eventually cave in and just put it on my asuran guardian just for aesthetics because he is the only one of my characters that REALLY suits it. It’s almost like it was made for him.
