Sorry if this has been asked before, but I didnt know how to search for the question lol.

Q: As the pre purchase comes with the base game, as a veteran player, do I get another account with my pre purchase?

How does the pre purchase work? I get a code for the expansion and another code for the base game?
I know we now get a new character slot, but say I want a new account with even more character slots, should I get that because the pre purchase comes with the base game/account?

You will receive an HoT serial key that may be applied to an existing account or used to create a new account. Your choice; one or the other, not both.

It doesn’t matter if you are a Veteran or not when purchasing (pre- or otherwise). Once applying the code to your account, it can determine how long the account has been active. Or, if creating a new account, that the account is, well, new.

Why dont I get another account? If every Pre Purchase comes with the basegame (which means an account right?) then why wouldnt I get one?

When I pre purchase from the website, how does it know if im a veteran or not if im not logged in?
