Pre - legendary weapons
I propose that they can get the pre-legendary weapons completing a mini-dungeons. A mini-dungeon for each weapon, with a small frame which will be told in several parts. Every part of that history will be given to complete the mini-dungeon and when you complete all parts, you will get the pre-legendary weapon you want.
All this with a limit, for example, you can get a weapon of each type per account in this way only.

so you are proposing that we do a series of stories, mini dungeons that will unlockvarious parts of a precursor?
Sounds good to me honestly- at least at the end of the day you can say you earned it
+1 for this idea. I welcome every way that is different to the current ways of aquiring a precursor
I’m glad you like it. With this addition would be entertaining and not boring because each piece you get a day you discover a part of the history of the legendary weapon.
Still think a long quest series taking you all over would work better, since it be long can’t be farmed as much or as quick, also bound item at the end so no reselling.
Yes, this is how I wanted Precursors to be done as well. The whole RNG .00001% chance to get a precursor from loot bags and mystic toilet is kittened.
Unfortunately, it’s far too much work for a team dedicated to doing Living World Stories, so it’s much easier to just write in a .0001% chance in a monster drop table somewhere.
This could be implemented as a part of the living world, but be permanently.
The essence is to get a precursor to pleasant and without frustration.
