I have selected a stat set that i would like to change on my precursor armor. Currently I cannot craft the full Legendary set. I was wondering if I could mystic forge my armor set to change my stats or will that nullify my precursor armor?

I wouldn’t risk that one. It would be a cheaper mistake to just make a completely different set of ascended.

Omg don’t do it. I’m sure it works the same way as with precursor weapons where it replaces the precursor with the new ascended armor piece, and so it will not work as a precursor anymore. You could contact support to get it replaced if you already did it but if not then don’t do it.

No. As with any ascended gear, it will change the item per se to the desired item ID, and that would be a bad choice for you going for the legendary version.

contact support with a sob story like how you accidentally picked the wrong thing and hope theyre nice (usually are). or a little riskier delete it and tell them it was an accident and oops and the thing they give you back will not have stats selected (and will be missing its rune but so what).

dont stat swap in the forge, it will give you back the crafted item instead of your precursor and you need that precursor item to make a legendary.

The 2nd generation precursor are ascended and if you try to swap stats in the forge you get the generic weapon. I wouldn’t try it with the armor.
