Hi, I have a question that I think I already know the answer to, but would like to validate before I start down a long path.

I have a character that has maxed weapon smith, and I soul bound a Legendary precursor to a different character.

Is there a way to get the precursor to my maxed weapon smith character or am I stuck skilling up the character that has the precursor bound if I want the legendary?

Thanks!

You won’t need to use the precursor until you have every other gift (gift of mastery, gift of fortune, and the legendary weapon gift) ready to go in the forge. Gifts are all account bound, so you can just put them in your bank after you’ve made it on your weaponsmith and have the character with the precursor forge them when you’re done.

Ahh thank you RoseofGilead, I thought the the final combination required max crafting.

Nope. Just portions of the precursor gift (ie. Gift of Kraitkin, Gift of Moot, Gift of Kudzu) require a crafting discipline. Pretty much everything else is combined in the forge.
