If you put weapons purchased from dungeon tokens in the mystic forge, is there still a chance to drop a precursor weapon?

Yes. Your best bet is to use four of the same exotics as the precusor you want.

I’m not sure what’s to prove. I’ve seen people say they’ve done it. They’re exotic weapons. They give you a random exotic when you place them in the forge. I know because I’ve placed some in the forge.

I haven’t gotten a precusor from doing so, but I have gotten other named exotics…which is all a precusor is… a named exotic that happens to be used to make legendaries.

Yes it’s been proven again and again and again… In fact I have a friend who got a Dusk from dungeon greatswords about a month ago.

I must have read that wrong, I thought you meant that you have an even higher chance at pre cursor if you drop 4 exactly the same weapons in the mf.

But you meant drop 4 exotic short bows if you want the short bow pre cursor etc.
