Heyho,

so last month I preordered HoT from Amazon Germany for the same prize as you can preorder it right now from the official site. The expansion is being sold by NCSoft on Amazon.

Now my question is, will all people who already preordered the expansion from a third party website(at least the ones where NCSoft is the seller) get access to the Beta-Weekends?

I guess there are some people that are concerened about it, that’s why I post it on the forums.

No. Beta access and the title is granted for pre-purchasing HoT. When you pre-purchase, you pay up front and immediately receive your access key.

There will be 3rd party sites offering the same pre-purchase as ArenaNet, but they’ll basically be buying the keys here and reselling them.

In short, if you have a HoT access key, you have beta access.

i dont think you should have preordered from anyone but anet, tbh ><

sure ncsoft is the parent company, but theyre… well… they have investors to keep happy and anet is just an investment to ncsoft and their shareholders.

It makes sense as the payment will be done on release day and not before. #
I will cancel that order then…the price is the same anyway so I would advice anyone who preordered and didnt pay for it yet to cancel the order and buy it from the official website instead.
