I’ve noticed that recently I get bombarded by a lot of messages every time I enter Heart of the Mists. (And constantly throughout my entire gameplay time)

I realize Anet is probably working on getting that under control, but can we please get a feature where I can hide offline from the spam while still being able to see and participate in guild chat? Or maybe have an option where only people on my friends list can whisper me?

Anything where I don’t have to suffer through 10 messages in 5 minutes would be nice. It’s getting really annoying to have to stop playing to report and block someone then have to do it again 30 seconds later to someone else. I wouldn’t really complain if it wasn’t a giant wall of text every single time.

And closing this forum post because of silly nonsense like “If you feel a player is abusive in-game, please report them using the in-game ticketing system so our Customer Support team can properly investigate the issue and take any appropriate action.” isn’t going to fly Anet. Reporting and blocking isn’t going to stop the next person from messaging me. I shouldn’t have to report and block a thousand people a day…
